My Story
Hey, I’m KB Lake! It's so nice to meet you. If you’ve made it this far, consider me officially intrigued; and if I’ve caught your attention, just imagine what I can do for your brand.
I’m 22, a proud Georgia Bulldog, and counting down the days until I graduate with my journalism degree this December. But if you want the real story, you have to look at what’s in my blood. I come from a long line of entrepreneurs; from my Poppa the farmer to my grandaddy and his endless supply of business ideas, right down to my parents, who have built everything from restaurants and storage facilities to the bridal boutiques where I currently sell gowns (with one of the highest closing ratios in the shop, I might add!).
Small business owners run America, but as the oldest of five, I saw firsthand how hard they work and how little time they have left to tell their story. So, I took matters into my own hands, literally. I started running social media for my parents at the age of eight. While other kids were playing with toys, I was already creating, whether with a paintbrush on canvas or digitally on my computer. Last year, I finally got the reins to help build a brand from the ground up, and that’s where I discovered my true passion: branding and collaborating with others to bring their visions to life, specifically by crafting the European, dreamy aesthetic for the wedding boutique GG Forever.
That passion has since exploded. Today, I create content for everyone, from pilates studios and hair salons to high-end boutiques and custom graphics. I’m a bit of a Sex and the City fan at heart; I think I’m a unique blend of Charlotte’s timeless, classic view on life, Carrie’s journalistic curiosity, and the high-fashion spunk that makes life exciting.
When I’m not behind a screen or in the boutique, you’ll find me planning my own wedding to the love of my life, Cameron Myers. He proposed in my soul city, NYC, and we’ll be saying "I do" in Italy in July 2027. I live for travel, new adventures, and my three best friends, Liz, Kiley, and Cam.
At the end of the day, I’m a visionary just like you. I know how much love you pour into your business, and I’m here to make sure the world sees it, too. I don't just "do" social media; I create digital art that turns browsers into believers.
